How to read this sector

Streaming describes delivery, not one business model. Services may earn from subscriptions, advertising, live-channel bundles, transactions or a combination of these. Some commission and own programmes; others aggregate channels, distribute third-party services or operate a device and advertising platform. Compare the economics of content spending, distribution and customer relationships before comparing share returns. For a diversified parent, streaming may be only one division, so the listed group's performance cannot be read as the return of its video service alone. The profiles explain that scope and link to the operating groups and wider research in Wire Universe.
