How to read this sector
These businesses help people create, distribute or experience content, but their entertainment exposure varies. Devices, imaging systems, software and licensed audio or video technologies have different sales cycles and customer bases. Distinguish product sales from recurring services and intellectual-property licensing, and check how much of the listed group's activity sits outside entertainment. A share return for a broad technology company is not a measurement of its film, music or gaming service. The Index uses tiers to express entertainment relevance; this segment collects its selected enabling technologies rather than every supplier to the industry.
