Canal+ SA

CANAL+ combines subscription television and content aggregation with film and television production, distribution and digital video services.

How does CANAL+ reach audiences?

CANAL+ offers its own channels and programmes while also bringing other streaming services together through the CANAL+ app. Its group overview names Netflix, Paramount+, Apple TV and HBO Max among the services available through that platform. This aggregation role differs from producing every programme it distributes. CANAL+ also announced effective control of MultiChoice in September 2025, expanding the combined group's television activities across African markets. [1] [2]

What sits alongside subscription television?

STUDIOCANAL provides film and television production and distribution, with the Paddington films among the titles highlighted by the group. CANAL+ also operates Dailymotion, a video platform with advertising and monetisation technology, and has channel-distribution and telecommunications activities. The business therefore connects programme creation, rights distribution and access to viewers. Its listed parent should be read across these activities rather than solely through the original French television channel. [1]
